Y’all… TSFA Expo 2025? Whew! What. A. Weekend.
The Texas State Florists’ Association pulled out all the stops this year at South Shore Harbour Resort, and the theme? Secrets. Let’s just say: the only thing we didn’t keep secret was how much fun we had.
Workshops were buzzing, the design competitions were fierce (in the best way), and the energy in every room was BLOOMING. Between social media deep dives, innovative wedding design sessions, and business chats that made our spreadsheets blush — it was the kind of weekend that reminds you why you fell in love with flowers in the first place.
But First… That Lobby Moment
This one’s close to our heart: wWe were asked to create the lobby decor for the 2025 Expo — and you better believe we showed up with buckets of blooms and a vision!
We wanted every guest walking into the resort to feel that instant spark — that floral “oh wow” — and we gave it everything. Imagine large pieces of drift wood in huge Accent Decor gold urns and overflowing with flowers. Unexpected pops of texture, and little design “secrets” tucked into the arrangements to echo the theme.
From lush roses to draping orchids, from hand-lettered hidden messages to architectural elements that made you pause and say “how’d they do that?” — we created a full-on flower fantasy moment that set the tone for the whole weekend.
Getting to share our creativity with our fellow florists? Honestly, it was an honor. (And yes, we may have overheard a few “Wait, Aces team is really good! Made our flower hearts are full.)
All the Feels
This year’s Expo reminded us that our industry is blooming with talent, resilience, and heart. Whether it was catching up with flower friends, learning something brand new, or feeling inspired to level up our business game — TSFA delivered.
To everyone who stopped to snap a selfie in front of our designs, shared a laugh, or just gave a good ol’ “YASSS” — thank you. You make the flower world feel like home.
Until next year, friends — stay curious, stay creative, and keep blooming big.
With petals and pride,
