Medellín in Full Bloom

There are floral shows… and then there’s Deli Roots.

Medellín turned into a living canvas; a space where the past and future of chrysanthemum design collided in full color.

From the second I walked in, I knew this wasn’t just another industry event. It was a heartbeat. A rhythm. A reminder that flowers don’t just decorate space, they define it.

Every stem carried a story. Every installation said something about where we’ve been and where we’re going next.

Here’s the thing about Deliflor — their chrysanthemums are more than varieties. There is a reason I say they are the best in the world.

You can feel the years of innovation in the petals, that deep-rooted commitment to craftsmanship that’s made Deliflor a global name and a designer’s dream.

It wasn’t just the flowers that impressed me. It was the way every display told a story.

That’s the kind of passion that makes you stop, stare, and remember why you fell in love with flowers in the first place.

Let’s talk about JD and David.

If you’ve ever met them, you know.

They’re the kind of people who make the floral world feel like family. They are genuine & generous, and grounded in everything that’s real about this industry.

From cracking jokes to walking you through the history of each variety, they carry Deliflor’s heart in every handshake and conversation.

They aren’t performing — it’s who they are. It’s rare to meet people who remind you that flowers are about more than competition. It is really about connection.

I left Medellín buzzing with that kind of inspiration that shakes something loose inside you. I came home and created differently.

That’s what Deli Roots did. It reminded me that floristry isn’t just about what we make; it’s about what we mean.

Until next time, Medellín.

Keep blooming.
